How many were arrested for attacking Rand Paul? Because that's what we were talking about.
Between the several people on here who said they looked at the video and it didn't show any "attack" on Rand, and Rand's comments to the press where he claims to have been attacked but specifically doesn't mention even being touched by anyone, it seems pretty clear that Rand Paul is a whiny drama queen.
Furthermore, they were well within their rights to be there and to shout at Rand Paul. Unless they can prove that somebody intentionally shoved a cop, they have no case. I wouldn't be surprised if no charges were filed against anyone.
Look at 16 or 17 seconds in to the video. A cop was shoved. It is very clear.

And this just in. You just can't make the following type of thing up.
The unarmed man shot in the back seven times, who is now a paraplegic, is handcuffed to his hospital bed.
vs.
The 17 year-old trigger-happy killer is allowed to stay at home in Illinois for the next 30 days, and avoids extradition to Wisconsin to face charges.

I'm pretty sure Kyle Rittenhouse is still in custody and not at home.
IMO, the judge made the right call here. Rittenhouse should be allowed time to find a private attorney. I question that he would need 30 days, but a continuance is reasonable.

But people people were yelling mean words at Rand Paul.
That will be ignored by Rigged.

Was he intentionally shoved or was someone just trying to get closer? If it was intentional you gotta be able to prove it. I don't think the video is conclusive on that point. I still doubt that any charges were filed.

We don't know if any of that happened. He clearly wasn't lunging for a knife. The cop grabbed his arm before he even had the car door open.
If he was resisting arrest, you don't get the death penalty. It's a misdemeanor.
The cop committed murder.
Black people are being hunted and killed by cops. White m@ga-babies just make excuses.
This isn't hard.

That the defendant caused bodily harm to a person. Cause in this context means that the defendant’s conduct was a substantial factor in producing the bodily harm. Bodily harm means physical pain or injury, illness, or any impairment of physical condition;

That the person harmed was acting in an official capacity;
That the defendant knew or had reason to know that the person harmed was a police officer or firefighter;

Quit blaming cops, blame it on the ones who are breaking the law and decide that fighting cops and then going for a weapon is going to end well for them.
If true & I believe that it is. Trump wins again.

Yet when Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people, killing two he walked right past the police and got to go home and sleep in his own bed.
And when Dylan Roof murdered nine black and mostly elderly churchgoers in their place of worship, he left safely and was fed a hamburger (no pickles).
Tell me why???

The cop shoved someone with his bike. After that the individual shoved back. Yes, it is very clear.
That shove back is what you are going to stand on as an "attack"?
Fats, I'm reposting this 7 sec video where a cop gets hit hard in the head by a metal lid. This is a felony assault with intent to cause serious harm and this is YOUR side acting like idiots. Subhuman scum.

Bumped for the coward RFH. He’s hung up on someone pushing a bike against someone else, while avoiding all issues that don’t suit his agenda completely.
A coward.

Why? Not a rhetorical question--I'm genuinely curious.
Donald Trump blamed Barack Obama's "weak leadership" for the 2014 Ferguson-inspired riots (I guess those look pretty tame now); why wouldn't the same reasoning apply now?
Again, not actually arguing here, just curious what the logic is. (Full disclosure: I've been a voter for a few decades and have never cast a ballot on the Democratic line for any office.)

Not sure what you were responding to, but as it happens I agree: President Trump is pretty clearly of more than average intelligence. He is ignorant of many things, but that seems to bespeak character flaws (including a lack of desire to become educated and a stunning lack of empathy) and possibly reading/learning disabilities, rather than a lack of intelligence per se.

Yes.
My most sincere concern is that this not so stable a bit slower than a genious but also not so stupid guy will have made a plan about what he will do if he is not reelected, that is a grisly thought.

This is similar (maybe considered a corollary) to the "Ed Bradley effect" where the former mayor of Los Angeles, a black man, is way ahead in the polls going in to the California gubernatorial race and ends up losing. In that instance, the white voters who planned on voting for the white candidate instead told the pollster that they intended to vote for Ed Bradley because they were afraid of being considered a racist.
With Trump, who has been called a racist incessantly by the media, many voters polled are fearful of expressing their intention to vote for Trump as they are fearful of being brandished a racist.

Let me be VERY CLEAR. Rand Paul and his wife were indeed "assaulted." They were ASSAULTED. That mob was shouting that they were going to "kill you (Rand)" and "F*ck you up(Rand)." I doubt that you know this but "assault" is when you threaten someone. It is "battery" when the offender strikes the one being battered.
