Babbit was breaking into a restricted area after the mob forced police to retreat by beating them with pipes, pepper spraying, using tazers on cops and using barriers as a ram to overrun cops. To say the police were backed into a corner at that point is an understatement. The Capital Police showed an amazing level of restraint by not shooting dozens of the Insurrectionists.
The restricted area she was breaking in had members of Congress and she was armed with a knife. Many of the insurrectionists were armed as stated above and the cops knew this because those weapons had been used on them. There was no leap to assume she had a weapon.
You are refusing to acknowledge facts and then casting bizarre accusations on others to avoid answering to the facts.
