Glad you can understand the situation. The occasion certainly got out of hand, but it also could have easily been avoided, yet wasn't allowed to. The last 10 years have created divide in the country quite deep regardless of why/ how. Frankly, we need a fresh start with new, younger, honest, respectful minds in the entire system. Regarding the shooting of Ashli Babbitt, unlike you I actually have empathy and think that it's a shame. However, that entire scenario is beyond the expertise of inflammatory LRC members like you, but I have a wealth of expertise.
Babbit was former U.S. Air Force and knew what she was doing. Every government facility has a public access area, and many of them have a Restricted Area where the public is not allowed. Babbit was breaking through a reenforced windows on a door in a place that was clearly marked Restricted Area. When you do that, all bets are off and being former military, she knew that already. The outcome was tragic, but the U.S. Capital Police were well within their jurisdiction to help defend the congressional delegates.
