So Texas Governor Abbott removed 6,000 people from the voter rolls because they had felonies. Yet a person with 34 felonies can run for POTUS. Make it make sense.
Sorry to break it to you, the 34 felonies will be thrown out before sentencing. In order for the 34 misdemeanors that were past the statute of limitations to be elevated to felonies, it would require the commission of a second crime. Since that second crime was never identified by the prosecutor or the judge, it is impossible to determine whether or not that second crime was an official act by the president since the judge left the jury instructions so broad as to leave it to the interpretation of the individual jurors (no way to determine what action each individual juror felt constituted a second crime and if such act could be interpreted as the president operating in his official capacity).
