History has a million moving parts and just one or two of those million moving parts doing something different could change the outcome. Your general observation of dictators rising to power in economically difficult times doesn't disprove that. There's no guarantee that Hitler wouldn't have risen to power if Germany had actually won WW 1 or had gotten a more favorable armistice. No one has any way of knowing that. Most reputable historians know that alternate history is just somebody's guess at the way things might have turned out. It's good fodder if you want to write a fictional book like The Man in the High Castle. Entertaining, but still just a guess at how things might have happened.

Yep. Apparently there was high drama at the DNC with MSM "journalists" butthurt that they weren't getting special seating and treatment. Harris' team made space for many social media influencers instead which was the right move given their reach. And frankly, most of them will do a better job of focusing on her accomplishments and skills and advocating for truth than these weak sauce MSM drama mongers.
