Ok, I guess I missed the 1k post by 3 minutes, but it took me that long to type that out. Anyways, the predictions are still worthy.

It makes no sense because tis thread is ATLANTIC REGION XC THREAD. So stop being a bitch about things and let people talk about what they want. 1-3 in the region are pretty set. I think 4-10 is toss-up

I look at 4-10 as 4 pairs that could go either way.

4. RIT

5. SLU

6. Plattsburgh

7. UR

8. Ithaca

9 Fredonia (injuries?)

whichever team has a better day

10.Oneonta/Brockport/ Hamilton??? (1 point means a lot)

Any thoughts or updates on these teams in question?

How is plattsburgh and Rochester not capable of breaking into the top 5 in your opinion? These two teams are more than capable of being 4th and 5th. Rochester peaked one week to early last year and plattsburgh proved they can run when it counts. To say plattsburgh and Rochester aren't in the mix for 4th and 5th shows your ignorance. Sure RIT handed it to plattsburgh by 88 points... 1 month before regionals.

It's going to be very disputable to predict 4-10 no matter where you put SLU and Plattsburgh (the board favorites apparently or at least of some people)

Matt Avery- SUNY Brockport will be top 15 at SUNYAC, bank on it.

Rumor has it Plattsburgh has been sitting out Ben Jackson this whole season to surprise people when i counts. Look for him to be in the top 15 as well

I'm pretty sure an athlete needs to be on the roster as of the first competition in order to be eligible to compete. And other rumor have had it that he did indeed fail out.

You do not need to be on the roster that is listed on the website at anytime. Aren't there some schools that don't even post rosters? He would have to have gone through all the normal NCAA paperwork and be listed on the NCAA roster to compete, but that roster isn't directly posted anywhere.

With that being said, I doubt he'll be racing.

Ben Jackson ran a 5k (the one where that girl won a grand for a 20+) that had 3 former SUNYAC runners in it and he was way back he was over a minute behind henry who ran for cortland and locket who ran for geneseo...he will not be a factor even if that rumor is true, which I doubt

I don't think RIT would be running their full squad in this race.

Also another factor that could play: Rochester may upset SLU. They did it last year, and don't give me the bullshit that SLU ran it as a workout.
