Another marathon cheater, this time it’s a lady cutting courses and riding her bike for 2:45 marathons

It’s an elite running group that is tired of cheaters. They test to be where they are at. So should she. She doped and her Ironman Times went from 14 hours to 10 hours. Huge red flag in that community. That would be like a 4 hour marathoner who has run 4 hours for years previous to a 2:45. Sarah Sellers wants her tested. Does that help you with your comment on calling me unsocial? I have friends in high places as well. I’ve seen this behavior the last 10 years. I’ve worked and an now working with USATF to see it end. She is being asked to take a drug test for by her piers. By those that are keeping this community clean and without social justice hero’s sticking up for lies that simply don’t belong here. I offered to pay for it. Why is that beyond comprehension to you to help her cause?

She has a previous suspension for doping in the Ironman community. She left that scene and come to the running community. They hold the same standards here as in the Ironman community. She served her suspension and cane to the road running scene. She competes at a bear Olympic level right away which all athletes will question. Which is typical. Then she cheats on a non doping issue but it deals with integrity. She got caught and called out. Now the running community looks at her as bringing her past doping issues with her. If you cheat on something as small as this then there are bigger issues involved is the consensus. That’s the jest of it. Would you take a test if it were you? If you wouldn’t and feel like this is singling you out then stop your cheating. I’m speaking on behalf of a large voice that wants to keep this sport honestvand fair.

I get it. The biggest fact here is you weren’t there. If you are really at or was on a lever that you claim you are, everything you stand for is wrong. You must’ve cut the course yourself and not reported it like her. Try to make sense of the rules to your benefit because you read slower doesn’t change the rules.

Yeah true, but then by the same token if you can recognize how small this is and yet keep harping on and on about it, then again it seems "there are bigger issues involved"...

It's pretty obvious to anyone just looking at the pics how jacked up she is. Nothing further really required.

Walter, I'm with you on the suspicion that Ashley needs to be checked for drug use again in light of her past history and now this course cutting incident but we need to be smart about this.

As an elite level performer, I would expect that Ashley must be in the WADA testing pool? Instead of asking her to take a drug test right now, I would raise an incident with WADA to make them aware of the situation and to let them handle the whens and what of the testing. It would be up to them whether they want to test.

Wanting Ashley to take a drug test right now and giving her so much lead time makes testing a waste of time and effort. I say you should seek to put a quick end to the situation by simply banning her from that race for a few years and having the incident logged with USATF and WADA. No need for you guys to take it further since we are now aware of these incidents and her performances will be more closely followed.

Anyone like Dunes Runner who give people like Ashley passes for cheating are, at their heart, cheaters too. They might not have cheated themselves, due to lack of motivation or opportunity, but if they see nothing intrinsically wrong in it then then they themselves are wired as cheaters - nothing less.

Even though posters like this Dunes character are "registered" they are still anonymous. No way would they reveal who they really are and dismiss cheating as no big deal, because they know that all they then do and have done will be examined in the light of their corrupt belief system and then viewed with the skepticism it deserves. They doubtless hold themselves up as having "integrity" amongst their peers, paying lip service to the principles of fair play etc, while secretly harboring contrary views which they expound upon anonymously here without the fear of negative consequences.

And of course, lying goes hand-in-hand with cheating, so that gives a pretty good idea as to the pinches of salt that should be taken along with Dunes Runner's claims of former running prowess.

I am the most transparent person here to have myself exposed for all to see. I am engrossed in the running community nationwide. I have nothing to hide. I have shortcomings. Nobody is perfect. This has happened before when the pro triathlete called Ashley out for doping a few years ago. She hoes by the sign of Hatsack. She hate messages directed to her as well. But look at the outcome. She got busted. Failed her drug test. So all of those coming after me pointing your fingers renember three more at pointing back at you. If you have facts to her not cheating, let’s hear them. I’ll have s witness to recant your conspiracy. There is no maybe that’s why we are all up in arms to see her clean. When I got invited to run on team USA in 2011 world championships they made me drug test before they even announced me. I got bumped up a line of a lot of athletes declining their invite. There is a reason for this process. Transparency and integrity are demanded by those representing. I don’t need to humor Dunes comments when they don’t pertain to facts. If he has any, bring them out. Until then, don’t claim you are an expert at the system while saying in the same sentence cutting the course is ok.

They aren't, though:

1) She cut the course (Paulson Strava)

2) She claimed to have run the hills at the end, even though she didn't (Paulson IG)

3) She lied about passing runners that she didn't pass when questioned (Guy whose son ran the race)

4) She failed a drug test (USADA)

It's a bit of a common theme on cheater threads - someone is too close to it so it causes them to be personally upset and to get more and more upset with ongoing lies etc. The "too close person" generally also reads the cheaters social media which just keeps enraging them because of the "cheater" sticking to the lie or telling more lies and the fans/friends of the cheater who believe them and write supporting messages and go further to turn it around and everyone who questions the "cheater" is a "hater".

So, walter, while it's understandable that this upsets you, I do think you need to take a step back and not personalise this so much. Letting a cheater get you this upset isn't worth it. You will never get her to voluntarily take a test or admit she cheated.

A certain number of cheaters, no matter how damning the evidence against them, will never admit it. If you have someone who was busted taking SARMs and claimed it was accidental, it's not surprising that person will also claim, when they are caught course cutting, that it was accidental. GO ahead and follow up and do what you feel is right, but don't let it a crappy person wreck your days. Life is too short.

No, all the "facts" are not coming from Walter. In "fact" most of them were provided on the first page by Runmaster who extensively detailed how Ashley cheated and lied to cover the fact. She provided two lengthy posts on the topic and Walter didn't weigh in until midway down page three. So I'll say it again - nothing Walter posts makes Ashley look any better as that has no bearing whatsoever on the facts provided by Runmaster.
