An 18 year old doesn't look that different from a 25 year old to me. I know many people have had that one friend in high school who would buy all the alcohol because he looked older. In my early 20s I had friends who said they stopped getting carded in high school, while I was still getting carded into my 30s. I went to school with boys who were prematurely balding.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if he were 36 or 37. But I don't think he's 6-7 years older than what his official papers say.

Zane is becoming INSANE! His claim does not make sense. Many will say the reason he won the world junior cross country was because he was a senior running against juniors-that he wasn't a special talent. The same year (2003), he won 5K at the senior world championship. Shouldn't the discussion have stopped? 15 years later Kipchoge is not only still at it but setting world records by the greatest margins in over 50 years! To be fair which Western athlete( American, European or even Asian) has ever set a world record after the age of 30? If none and you still sticking with your point then what you are saying is that East Africans are far more superior ( by a lot) than the Westerners. Science( which the West is built on) disagrees!

It is true that I haven't seen someone like that at age 18, but at the same time I'm an American in a suburb.

I trusted those Kenyans! I thought their success was due to being natural born runners, altitude natives, hard work, and NO dope. I use to defend them years ago against doping suspicion.
