It does make me laugh when Letsrun posters use the opinions of 7 year olds as their own ideas. Very compelling. Perhaps we should refer to the opinions of children for advice on geopolitical issues and the economy?

When Semenya undergoes hormone therapy or whatever she might be forced to do, she will still look like a man to your friends daughters. Doesn't make them right. They are children and have a limited world view based on their limited experiences.

Who, exactly? You mean the Kenyan doping ones? Or Lynsey Sharp who had TWO international athlete parents. How can anyone fairly compete with her? Its not fair boo hoo hoo.

Perhaps if they first demonstrate to the crowd that they are 'women' first...? By showing independently certified testosterone readings, a list of all their OOC drug tests, number of missed tests that haven't been made public etc etc. Shall I go on?

I've always been confused by the picture below of Caster and Caster's wife. It's either a wife posing with her husband in a manner often seen between men and women, or it's a wife grabbing her female partner's breast, which hardly seems an appropriate pose to take let alone to circulate widely. So does Caster in fact live his/her life as a guy and only consider himself/herself a woman for track? Or did they release a provocative photo to the press?

Unfortunately for her.......her testosterone levels will probably be too high. If any other female tested that high they would ban her. She has an unfair advantage.

I think his point is this issue is so simple that even children can figure it out. It's just like the old children's story the Emperors New Clothes, children can intuitively figure it out but adults make it complicated because they are afraid of being labelled an idiot.

Just replace the emperor with Obama and other Liberal leaders, the emperors faithful minister with CAS, the weavers with Semenya and Niyonsaba, the sports media with the village people, the clothes with the 1:54 performance and the kid with frankly current normal kids.

When it comes right down to it, even 7 year olds intuitively know there is nothing impressive about an XY in there prime beating up on girls. But yet even letsrun.com keeps up the facade using very flattering language about her "mastery of the event", "36 straight victories", and a "virtuoso performance". When in reality Semenya probably works 1/2 as hard as her competition and has performances ~10 seconds slower than her true comparable competition, but yet steals all womens 800m glory and probably 80% of the womens track international media coverage .

Actually it was either RJM or Clerk that posted either East German or Soviet analysis that anabolic steroids had a significantly greater enhancement on female performances than male equivalent events for the simple fact men already have testosterone.

It was the declassified East German steroid doping program. Signficant benefits for the women's running events - the improvement documented with the women's 800m & 1500m is incredible. Interesting read but quite sad at how aggressively the East German Government was doping these young women with androgens and causing permanent health consequences for many:

I’m not a scientist or doctor, but watching semenya run she’s definitely not a man, but certainly not 100% female either. She is a hybrid to simply a rather complicated issue. Definitely do not mean to disrespect caster in any way. I think if caster were to run some B level college guys say 1:50-1:52, they would beat semenya but not by much it would be a close race at least through 600-700m.

I don’t think that’s fair to women as I think the threshold for a women physiologically is 1:54 high, 1:55 low. But at least we do know without a doubt what our women are capable of having someone like semenya In the race. I would hope caster continues to race like the Paris race to push our women 800m runners as a rabbit that finishes the race

I challenge you to find an actual female that is regularly tested for modern drugs, that isn't a man, hasn't failed a drug test, that has run faster than 1:57. There's not many.
