However Portlands coach probably thinks he has a better shot at a podium finish at nationals than a conference championship. So his focus in on Nationals.
If he felt the conference championship was in reach then i'm sure they would have went all in.
Is there someone from Oregon not showing in the results, or did they only run 6 people? They were only registering 6 at each check point. If someone lost a chip, the results might change.
they cant get their #1 or 2 inside the BYU top 5? they have 0 shot at winning and BYU just got stronger and they got weaker as the race went on

Oregon only ran 6 women. Two no-started due to injury, according to the broadcast.

yeah I know, but they should have over 8k been able to get their top 2 in BYU top 5, I don't see them on the podium if they cant do that

Yeah, well they beat a lot of the teams that will be vying for the other two podium spots at Wisco. So I still say they have a shot.
BYU's top 4 are lights out. And it seems like they have a rapidly improving 5th. Who knows, maybe BYU's can get it's 5th ahead of NAU's 4th.

Stanford didn't run a full squad at Wisco expect them to be on the podium for one

I guess looking back at last year, they were only 4th at this meet and won NCAAs with Cash. One has to wonder if anyone is truly injured or they are just not racing. Interesting to see what Cash does as there is no reason to not run her as she is a 5th year senior.
