Doesn’t this net a lot of people? Can we get a list of people who saw Dr Brown? How about people who improved their mile times at 25 or older? Improved their 5000 times by 15 seconds in a year in their mid 20s. Improved their PR substantially to win a medal at the WC?

I basically start with the assumption that everyone might be guilty . It's easier to start with the assumption everyone might be guilty. Start skeptical and see if the performances make sense to you.

I'm defending Rupp or Salazar, I'm torn on what to believe (as a fan).
But what gets me is the crying from elites that they want a clear sport but Jager gets a pass and he is on the same darn list that is being thrown in NOP's face.
That is the only thing that gets me with these elites and makes it seem like they are very jealous of the NOP/Rupp/Hasay etc.

Fact is they don't know. But then again, Rupp probably doesn't know that Meb and Shalane are clean. If you don't know, then I think classiest thing to do is just assume competition is innocent until proven guilty.

sure jager is on the list, but jager didnt get androgel rub downs with happy endings in hs, doesnt have a print off from hs with his steroid/testosterone regiment, his coach never mailed him thyroid meds in a book, he isnt coached by a coach who has been accused of being sleazy, shady and a cheat, doesnt take his coaches cytomel meds without prescription, hasnt been accused of taking MACRO dosages of vit D, thryroid meds, and L-carnitine.

Because if they're not, if Rupp and Al Sal and the NOP project gets exposed, if the suspicions bear fruit, if results get erased and medals taken away, I fear it will do the same degree of damage to American track and field, as Lance Armstrong did to pro-cycling. Because compare the kind of coverage the Tour De France got during Armstrong's hey day, with last years's coverage. I've always thought that this is the most likely explanation, but in reverse. These pros know that NOP is NOT doing anything illegal or against the rules, and they hate that. They hate it because they can't bring themselves to enter that grey area, either because they're afraid they'll cross it accidentally or because they think it's immoral or against the spirit of the sport.
I had an ex girlfriend in HS who was mad that I guessed on questions on the SAT because I knew that if I could eliminate ones I knew were wrong, the way the test is scored it was to my advantage to guess. She worked her ass off to have better grades than me, but I beat her soundly on the SAT. Seems like the same thing to me.
It's just odd to me to hear Meb saying something like this. Generally he's pretty quiet on this front and portrays a positive outlook on everything. And he will be retired a month from now, so who cares? I don't see him as one to "hope" Galen is dirty, just so his own Boston win looks more impressive. I dunno.. surprised he said this.

I'm amazed at these "brave" people talking about ridding sports of doping, but nary a word about by far the biggest doping problem in distance running. The elephant in the room is East Africa, and not Rupp. Until that issue is fixed, whether it be a ban on the whole countries, implementing year-round testing capabilities, banning shady Italian doctors & coaches or whatever, until that is resolved, top distance running performances will continue to be a complete farce. It's pretty obvious that most E. African fast times are achieved through doping yet these "brave" souls focus on one or two individuals while omitting dozens? Yeah, you'll fix doping all right. Please.

What's ridiculous is people concerned that NOP may be breaking some gray rules with how much and how the use/used l-carnitine. With whether thyroid medication should be allowed. None of those have actually shown to be performance enhancing. If NOP really was willing to break rules, and by all account they are pretty thorough about asking and establishing what the exact rules are, why the f*ck wouldn't they just use proven PEDs? If you're gonna dope, dope big or go home, right?
