What about Nick Gramsky? He should be on the list.

impressive results for Trevor Cable and a bunch of young guys listed from Williamsburg, VA at the Shamrock Marathon. Are those guys in school, or college drop-outs? their ages look like they should be in college.
Google and Dyestat puts Cable as a New York all-star that would be a senior now, results have him running for William & Mary.
I don't think we're supposed to count kids that are in college, especially if they're not in-state...
Cable is not on the wm roster according to tribeathletics.com
and if he took the prize money he's definitely not running in college anymore unless his last name is rupp
It seems like he was really fast in high school, and definitely on wm's team at some point. Are we sure this is the same trevor cable?
Steve Crowder hasn't raced as much recently; but he wins most local races in the Roanoke,VA area between 5 and 10K. Usually runs 31 or 32 minutes 10K and typically has to do it alone on hilly courses.

Isn't that 10 miler you ran on a net downhill course?
Yep. Drops about 110 feet from start to finish, over 2x the allowed drop for records. No Broad Street but definitely an aided course.
where are all of those William & Mary people who knew what was going on with the food poisoning in the fall? and bashing the girls coach? they should know what the deal is...
who is trevor cable?
susan gray and maria spinnler from the cvac should make the women's list.
trevor cable was previously on the wm team, but decided to quit the team in favor of better results.
all the guys at the colonial half and shamrock marathon go to wm and are part of a newly-formed elite running team, Team Blitz.
Meredith Rainey Valmon, but I haven't seen her name latey in results. What happened to Desiree Ficker?
Billy Edwards should def. be on that list , the guy is an animal! He easily runs sub 16 in the 5k, his PR is under 15 min, plus he ran the Anheuser Busch Colonial Half Marathon in 1:11 something beating jon piggot and he rode his bike 130 miles the day before, whos on your list, and he's not even training for running right now. He just did a iron man and qualified for Kona in Hawaii. The guy is pretty sick and he should easily be on the list.
What, I win the Race Packet Grand Prix for 2004 and can't make this list?
No respect. (well, no respect for the Race Packet Grand Prix at least)
What about Kevin Rhue , he graduated from University of Richmond last year and was a 3:47 1500m runner. I know he's run a few local road races, ran 14:50 5k somewhere and 25 something at the big richmond marathon/ 8k.
Also Matt Sinclaire was a All - American at CNU and I know has run sub 16 easily numerous times in the last 2 years since hes graduated. Plus he ran something like 25:20 last year at the richmond marathon/8k.
Don't know if these names have already been listed or if these folks are still around:
Jason Van Horn
Chad Walton
Naoko Ishibe and Megan McLaughlin on the women's side.
Alisa Harvey.
there were a bunch of VA guys in that Richmond 8k, maybe a couple in the marathon.
Maybe instead of a top 50 list, you should just make a list of the DC/VA/MD runners who have gone sub 16:00 5k, Sub 26:00 8k, ect. for the past year or two, and make a performance list.
That would take the objectivity out of it and it would be a ton more accurate.
Cooke is an outstanding talent and a good guy. I've spoken to him on a few occasions. He was the assistant manager at The Running Company, but he may be the manager since Kean moved another store.
I've seen Post here and there, but have never really stirred up a conversation with him.
I'll have to check into the SW VA running scene a bit more. RunWashington and Racepacket are the main running sites in the DC metro area. If you can give me the site of the results, I can check out some of the names and the times. RunWashington only gets sporadic results from that area.
It's tough to pin an address on any runner, especially when you can only find one race result. They could be visiting their friends or parents house for the weekend and could have used their address.
I'm really glad for you that you ended up getting that BQ, Wayne. Sounds like you've been pretty consistent with your training lately. One of my favorite races coming up in early June is the Roselle 5K in Roselle, NJ of course. I'm not sure if you've run it, when I ran it in 2002 it was on a Saturday evening, but they had some good post race food there. The Jack and Jill 5K was pretty neat as well, which is in Westfield, it's usually the week after the Roselle 5K. The Midland 15K should be coming up pretty shortly as well?
i will be in liden, virginia this summer and would like some guys to run some high mileage with me. does anyone know if anyone that trains pretty hard within 30 minutes of linden?
...and so is Boston, what's your point? Are you sure you know about the course? Since it would appear that you know so much about the course, I'm guessing you ran the race this year? No? I would also guess that since everyone(except Matui and Taylor) that finished ahead of me was given praise in the Top 50 ranking system, that would put you below me in the race results? So I'm probably going to go with Wayne's assumption that it's some 17:45/5K high school kid.
FYI: I didn't even attempt to put my name in the Top 50 list, so I'm not sure where you're going with this. I'm telling you upfront when the list is updated, I'm not even close to getting on that list. I just thought it would be a great idea for some of the other guys to get some recognition, that's all. What I will tell you is I work about just as hard in my training just as any of those other guys in the list. Certainly no disrespect to anyone there. That's one list I won't hesitate to put my name on.
It's something called guts, putting in 120-125 mi/weeks, weight training, cycling, swimming etc and then realize you don't have the talent to compete with some of those guys, but you keep putting in the work day after day, while making several sacrifices in order to fit your training schedule in, including taking a job with a lower salary. The truth is that even if my chances of ever making the Olympic Trials are slim and none(slim just leaving the building), I don't have a fear of going after my dreams. I'm not upset, but I'm just saying.
Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand, yes the GW Parkway Classic is on a net downhill course, but mostly uphill for the last 3-4 miles. It doesn't really compare to Boston, but it is a tad difficult when you've run the downhills hard in the early miles and then run the inclines at your ten mile goal pace.
blaznbison,
I responded to your email, did you get the message? Sorry, I couldn't help out more, but I'll look into it for you as I promised.
The list isn't permanent, so it will need to be updated. Tuttle ran a few races in the area, for some reason I assumed he was from around here. He ran the Outback Steakhouse 8K and just a week ago ran the GW Parkway Classic.
