Oregon still should win the title but it will be much closer.

Does anyone else think people who make an 8 person final but get DQd should get a point?

A DQ in 400 indoors cost Florida men the title.

Stevens finished 7th in the Olympics in the 200 and was the fastest coming in. How is publicity undeserved?

see my earlier post (although I missed nadal in there). If no points for Oregon in this, they need a 4x4 win for the title.

Deajah Stevens also runs the 4X400, which they desperately need to win now to have a chance.....it's over. Hand it to UGA!!!

not quite that much for feldmeier (she ran 2:03.13 in regionals), but definitely a big run for her.

Official results show she was in fact DQ'ed (after originally being DNF'ed). Give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she knew it.

However, I can't help thinking that the team-spirited thing to do would have been to still cross the line on the off-chance she wouldn't have been DQ'ed. Just in case.

Being called stupid is one thing, an idiot another, but "dude" ?!? Really???

I see hs girls do this on occasion. She flat out committed the first 100 meters and extended herself beyond what she was capable of. Then because of poor technique, she has lazy dorsiflection and plant/push mechanics and can't hold her form. She tried running an emotional race rather than a sound technical race which should have gotten the job done for her. Too much thinking going on with the sprinters. I've coached many female sprinters that started out with attitudes but were able to overcome that with good mental preparation that was directed toward self improvement. They (duck sprinters) seem very immature for their age and at that level. If they were from a lesser know institution, they would just be embarrassing themselves even more. Talent got them where they are but they have a lot to learn if they want to compete respectfully in a final championship event.

I said regionals (2015 in Jacksonville), not semis....
