Are these people stupid? Why don't they show the battle for 4th? My goodness.

This may be the worst coverage I have ever seen for a track meet.

Flash Results shows the American record as 14:42 from Molly Huddle still...

Was Rowbury's record never ratified or just a mistake? (or, I guess, a sly statement about the NOP situation...)

You mean all those other people were in the race too? Never would have known from NBC's crappy coverage.

I was waiting for Joanie to turn around and say, hay! The women's 5k is going on behind me!

A good run by Dibaba, looked strong. I think she pulled back from going after the WR because she wasn't feeling it.

She could still possibly challenge Ayana at 5,000 meters. She looks way better than she did last year, but she still does not look like her 2015 form.....She dominated the indoors, so this might be a strong outdoor season for her.

Hassan has corrected her arm swing a little. She looks more compact, and has some structure to her form. She ran a PB, too

It's Rowbury's record. And now we say that Huddle (15:09 in a much faster race) will never best that time.

Yes it happens many times, the videographers and producers lack artistic imagination and knowledge of the sport. Many times they did not show even the battle for second and third!!!

Lilian k, I would like very much to know her story, this must be an up and coming promising runner.

LOL! A freak show so far. Most doped Pre Classic ever? Love the bald Kenyan "junior" in the steeplechase, and Didoper is always a crowd-pleaser. Looking forward to some more sauce in action tomorrow. As always, congrats to the clean athletes for fighting the good fight.

The top white girl ran 15:07 which is only 42 seconds ( = 14 seconds per mile) behind Genzebe.

One nice thing about the race was that no American women were lapped by Genzebe in the 5000m race.

The white girls should think about moving up to Ultra-Marathon races where they can compete with ONLY really slow white women and really, really, really slow white men…for really, really pathetic prize money.

She didn't really go out with the pacer. And I know the pacer was way ahead of the pace that was agreed upon. It just appeared that after about 4 laps, she realized that it wasn't going to happen....but still ran and finished strong.

However, Molly was just out there working on her speed. She is no longer serious about 5,000 meters, just adding to her 10,000m/marathon form.

Molly has a PR of 30:13 at 10K from 9 months ago at the Olympics which is two 5Ks in a row faster than her 5K tonight.
