I think it is much better and logical to say to hell with all this just have an open category. Women compete the on the same terms for most jobs today (Clinton had to win more votes than Trump to become president and vice versa) so it should be made the same way for most sports (I would draw the line at combat sports).

Competitive sports at the highest level is about seeing the biggest freak talent is any case; having categories for people who are less able just goes against this ethos. If you want to give more people a chance to compete, just organize something like A B C D E F G etc heats before the Olympics starts as a pre Olympics and put the best from those into the 1st qualifying rounds of the Olympics. Make the pre Olympics a festival of sports for everyone.

The Olympic marathon could be reorganized to be just like a big city marathon with thousands of competitors competing.

All of these changes represent the most positive way forward for track and field.

Melissa Bishop is someone I genuinely admire, respect and think of as an outstanding Canadian. She has to be very careful about what she says. Otherwise she could lose her Nike sponsorship.

For her to say ‘we Canadians celebrate diversity’ is a safe politically correct statement that misses the point entirely.

First of all, Canadians don’t really celebrate diversity. Multiculturalism is an epic failure in Canada. The Canadian government is so desperate for slaves, that they have brought in people from the poorest, most different and backward cultural backgrounds that you can possibly imagine.

So no, Canadians, don't celebrate this. They despise it and feel this hostile takeover by immigrants from third world countries is tearing apart the fabric of the nation. A nation that was perhaps one of the best in the world . . . but not for much longer thanks to Justin Trudeau.

Many of these (diverse) immigrants do not respect the laws of Canada, want to change existing laws and openly disrespect the established Canadian culture and the people who have lived in Canada for generations.
