    An absolutely stupid rule. She qualified for the meet fair and square, she has shown that she deserves to run with these HS girls, why is everybody trying to take that opportunity away from her? I think that if a middle school qualifies for NXN (either by hitting a time or place) they should be able to run. HANDS DOWN.

    UPDATE: Eighth Grader Grace Ping WILL Race Nike Cross Nationals

    11/24 Update: In a bit of holiday magic, it seems as though Grace Ping will be allowed to race after all.

    "The compliance department for NXN had concerns with UHSAA's stance on how this could impact my eligibility," Ping said. "These concerns have been resolved. Thanks to Nike for being awesome and I can't wait to race!"

    The 13-year-old competes at the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot in San Jose, Calif. today.

    Nike reps could not be reached for comment.

    Ahhh, poor jealous coach who has athletes too slow to run faster than a prepubescent girls.

    BTW: Age 13 is not prepubescent. Learn something fool.
