Maybe it was unofficially, during a training run.
Her favorite workout is five miles at 5k pace.

The Comcast outage was all too short. If it lasted a week, some of you might actually get lives.
Anyone have a know of her trainings?
what's up with this girl? legit?
Not sure of her training but I hear she has an altitude tent.
I have a Winnebago she can borrow...
Hey all. I go to school an hour away from where this race is, and I was considering going. So I sent Jill a friend request on facebook, she accepted, and then I sent her a message asking if she really ran 51:31 and was going for the record. Apparently, the time is real, this is not a mistake, and the record attempt is on:

Oh wow this is a game changer.
This is amazing. She is actually saying she ran 51:31 in practice
supposing this is all true, what does she have to do be able to go to the 10K trials?
Just found this thread. Has the Brojos seen this thread yet? Someone needs to legitimately reach out to her and get some quotes. This could be a huge story or sadly one of the biggest troll attempts ever.
I haven't run the 10mi route, but it has about 600' of gain and I know ladies who have run well under 60min for 10mi at other races (cherry blossom, broad street) who run 3-5 minutes slower at this race. It is not a fast course. If she really did run 51:31 on that route in training then she is possibly WORLD record talent...and no one knows who she is, she has not previous race results, and no one knows her coach....
Facebook photos surely don't show an athletic specimen of any sorts. How can people just make this shit up?
What the hell are people smokin' in Pennsylvania?

Could you ask her more questions? What other races she's competed in? Pb's at other distances? Future goals? Why not go for the world record vs. the US record?
Also, the record won't count if she starts at the same time as men, right?

Jill does work for "The Run Doctor". He certainly has a lot of pictures of him racing, his race schedules, athlinks profile, etc.
http://www.upperbucksfoot.com/run-doctor-quakertown-pa/It's odd that Jill works for this guy, but she has nothing on her facebook and no one can find any results for her. Will be a great story if legit.
Looks like she is coached by a Mike Rossi look alike.
Jill just called a running buddy I know, who knows a guy. Her garmin is in K's.
If she didn't respond and confirm her 51:31 having her watch set on K's would be plausible. Nobody is that dumb are they?

The story is that she ran the whole 10 mile race course in 51:31, so the old miles/km mixup thing is irrelevant.
