I was just on the Dubai Marathon wikipedia page looking up the course record.

Anyway, they have a list of winners and I saw the 2011 winner and was like, "Who the hell is that?" Who is the guy that won after Haile won 3 straight.

David Barmasai won in 2:07:18. He never broke 2:10 before or after that.

Does anyone know if they had a $200,000 purse back then?
