Today I learned that PR-ing means Paula Radcliffeing. Most elites are PR-ing and we all know it.

From what I have read so far, I dint think we can conclude anything on Paula. It is interesting to compare this scandal the NOP scandal a few months ago. I think that taught me to be more curious with first impressions. I don't know who is or is not clean.As for Mo, I think citing those stats is pretty selective. He could be a doper but basically he focused on strength to close well and he did so at a time when there is no one running low 12:40s or 26:20s. The 2 mile indoor WR was soft. Look at the 3000 indoor record. And he is nowhere close to greats in the 3000 - 10000. Bekele, Komen or Haile at their peaks would crush Mo. At 1500 - 5000 Mo is a little better than Iguider, a great runner but not an all timer. Iguider recently broke 3:30Also, lots of people have big PR drops or improve as they get older. There were other threads on runners who got better at 28. Nick Willis just broke 3:30 at a later age. Jager had a huge PR In the 1500 and steeple. Solinsky and Ritz had big drops in the 5000. Solinsky smashed the AR in his 10000 debut with a great last 1000. Tergat got better with age. Haile G stuck around forever,carlos Lopes was awesome in his late 30s.

quality muscle is a big part of it.

Yes that peptide IGF -1 lr3 is alot of where that speed nd kick is coming from and helps keep fat off and save nessary muscle.

has free reign on this peptide throughout year and key.

might only use testosterone in big extended training blocks .

and microdose epo or epo mimitic to get

suffient nike hct and endurance.

Not a crazy hct like yesteryear.

but is low 50's or even up to mid suspicous

so put all together and et voila.

Agree also that top class 1500m at new

monaco track is worth 1-1.5 secs and

should be factored.

But repeat like so many athletes at mo

Take away igf-1 lr3 and speed not de same

Gee... Why didn't anyone else think of that?

I can't believe anyone who follows athletics closely can describe Farah's progression over the last five years as normal. Most of the athletes you've cited had one breakout performance and that was it. Farah is completely dominating distance running year after year, that's the difference.

And if you think his 5000 pb couldn't be significantly lowered (if he really wanted to) you're off your head. Maybe not to wr standard, but close enough to raise a few more eyebrows.

The main reason Mo hasn't approached the times of Bekele and Geb is because they were competing in an era where there was either no test for EPO or else had a much easier time doping with far less chance of being caught!

I'm not saying Mo is clean, I personally think that is unlikely given his 1500 times, but he isn't able to dope on quite the scale those in the late 90's/early 00's were able to. In this context, based on his championship performances and general domination since 2011, he is as good as Bekele and Geb.

Much has been made of Mo's 3-28 for 1500: Since moving to NOP the focus has been on working to run a really fast 400 at the end of a 5 or 10k: Alberto stated at the time he first started working with him that Mo was extremely weak and his work in the gym has remedied this : Alberto felt he had to take risks with athletes breaking down in view of the intensity of the work and this has happened with a few but the risks were necessary if medals were to be won : one of the main advantages of the NOP is immediate access to treatment in the event of niggles, and constant monitoring. Who invented the off-score, was is designed as a way to offer semi-random data that can "clear" an athlete even with obviously messed up value fluctuations?

I am not sure Mo got his false doping progress from EPO. It may well have been blood bags which don't boost your Hct nor Hb, just reduce you ret% by a tenth or so. For which there is EPO to compensate (thank you, Floyd Landis for explaining). If you consistently get yourself tested with a 46% Hct (green flag) when natural you are 39%, similar for your Hb, and keep your ret%in check with the EPO that also boosted you Hct and Hb a bit above natural levels (latter of which no-one is the wiser as you blood dope always), your off-scores going to sweet and flat. Heck, off-scores can be kept flat even when having wide flucctuations in your actual red blood cell count, including extra blood bags. Too high Hct through EPO? Add some plasma. Low ret%>EPO, High ret%>add old bag from deeeep freeze.

I'm no expert, but high Hb seems hardest to depress other than to take on lots of water, am I right? Might as well use Hb as the lead, and adjust other values to match.

To come back to the first statement, athletes falling ovver each other wanting to publish in all openness their off-scores...a very rude insult of all our intelligence.

And Mo, we wanted to know about shananigans with thyroid theray, not your "bloody" off-scores. And no Mo, it does not exonorate you. Even with great underlying values, you're not to be trusetd. Because you talk BS when doping is concerned.
