Great game by Texas native Colt McCoy! I bet he dreamed of playing in Texas Stadium as a kid. As a longtime Cowboys fan, they have a history of playing down to the level of their competition. This time, the Cowboys got out-coached. They had no answer for the Redskins' blitz. The Redskins deserved to win this game. That's not what upsets me. What upsets me is...
I still can't believe that Garrett let his $108M quarterback go back into the game after that back injury. Romo couldn't get off the ground for two minutes! On the first play after Romo came back in, he got hammered. If that hit had taken Romo out for the season (and it still might, we don't know how Romo will feel later this week), fans would be calling for Garrett's head on a platter. I'll be right there leading the charge. That was a stupid, short-sighted coaching decision.
Let's face it, the Redskins game was as close to meaningless as any one game could be. The Redskins won't be a contender for the NFC East and the Cowboys are still tied with the Eagles, who they play twice. Romo's health is way more important than this game.
