Everyone can sleep at altitude, run at altitude, or on an Alter-G., etc. Salazar's group might get a little more $, but Schumacher's guys have the same resources/equipments/gadgets if they want them. Schumacher is much more secretive about what he uses and what he doesn't. Salazar is more open. For instance, Salazar always talks about the sleeping at altitude technology advantage they have. Schumacher and his guys are much more tight lipped about this. do they use the altitude houses/tents? I've never heard them comment. Solinsky was coy when asked about it. But i know for a FACT that Shalane does, only because I know people that know her Dad, and he "let it slip" (only putting that way, because again, I think Schumacher wants to pretend that his system is 100% blue collar/old school training, when in reality....who knows. They might be doing a lot of the stuff salazar is doing).
So Rupp has no advantage or Schumacher's guys. They can get what they want, use the same things. They are just as "pampered" as you seem to think Rupp is.

You guys like to obsess about TUE and thyroid meds so much...think about this. In her second round of battling cancer, Gabe had to have her thyroid removed (read the article that the Brojos linked to). Which means that she has to be on thyroid meds for the rest of her life. Now I have no idea if in that type of use she could currently experience any benefit, but there it is.
