Bayer was smart taking it out in 60. All three time qualifiers, including Bayer, will come from the third heat.

First sentence correct, 2nd sentence grossly incorrect. How hard is it to remember times for 15 minutes?

lol
Bayer didn't make it--which makes me look like an idiot. I accept that mantle, alas.
I have children--it explains a lot. Forgive me.

SRR looked good. I feel dumb for not picking her, now.
Imagine all the work these guys have put in targeting this race, and the entire 3rd Heat decides to gamble on a sit & kick strategy rather than bring it through in 339. Do they not have coaches? I know legging out a 3:58 is no walk in the park but that has to be embarrassing to have that extra opportunity handed to you and pass on it.

I feel dumb for sitting through that lame TV show promo. Seriously?

after watching that race i am going to change this to: warnier needs to move up the 8 if he wants to run pro.

Agreed, wtf was that? Forget moving up to the 8, he should just move all the way up to the marathon.
And Nellum was worse. #3 in the world coming in I think. First, why was he in Lane 1? But Cooked from doing the 400/200 in the Pac-12, NCAA prelims, NCAA finals. USA probably lost a medal here.
Holy Apathy Batman.
They should avoid showing the "crowd", no one is there.
I thought Des Moines wanted to host a Trials?
Wariner should have retired a few years ago.
