I agree - he is a liar and an arrogant douche bag. I saw the photos of him stopping right before the finish line at the half marathon to do push-ups prior to getting up and crossing the finish line. What a shithead!

Here's deal. If any of you chumps ever win a race, you will not get the level of acclaim people used to get. In the back of their minds everyone will wonder if you too are like Hesch or Hellybeuck.

If you are wondering why the hoards of runners who line up every weekend for races don't care about you or the sport, Hesch is showing you the reason why. Your feats are literally unbelievable.

I would like to see WADA and USADA get some real funding and some real teeth. I'd actually like to see T&F go through the "annus horribilis" that cycling is experiencing. Until that happens, the sport is going nowhere.

I ran a road mile against Hesch two days after racing a hard 5k on the track. I'm a 4:02 miler clean. Hesch beats me by less than a second in a sprint and I finish third.... second prize was $700 and third was $500....

I think he owes a lot of runners money.

first off, he is a d-bag, no doubt. He'll never be able to race again and cheat the sport.

However, everyone is coming on here saying they want their prize money he cheated them out of. Unless these are sanctioned races and with the prize money so small I don't think legally there is any chance anyone gets any $.

If all race directors and athletes file a lawsuit against him to claim lost funds and deception it will bankrupt him.

This would be awesome and needs to happen. Penalty has to be greater than the benefit of doing wrong. Hesch is small potatoes, but the principle is the same as Lance Armstrong. Made millions off cheating, and if he's allowed to keep it, cheating makes rational sense, financially-speaking.

I'd guess j2scoop (the 29-year-old lawyer that was upset & calling him a piece of sh*t) might be happy to do this or help arrange this lawsuit with the proper attorney pro bono if there is not enough money involved.
