Best example of how lazy our society is

Some coworkers at the bakery I work at wont even take 15 minutes to scrub the grime off of the heating elements on the pan-washer. That means that I often have to spend 30-40 minutes to do the same task the 1 or 2 nights per week that I need to clean it.

I don't remember exactly what happened, but a cop tried to confront the teacher for falsely using the handicapped sticker. Yes, otherwise if it is a long walk, the Tourette's person runs a greater risk of insulting someone and getting beaten up. It is a safety issue.

On two separate occasions I've seen someone walking his/her dog from inside the car. One was holding the leash through the driver side window, the other was literally just following her dog up the road in her SUV.

The most interesting thing about this thread is how many people are misinterpreting these supposedly lazy decisions, such as the people getting giftcards at Coinstar and letting their cars warm up so as not to damage them... also, you guys do realize that some people might be more sensitive to temperature than you, right? I'm pretty sensitive to the cold, and there were a few times I probably should have warmed the car up as I could barely feel the steering wheel and was shivering uncontrollably.

For almost any car made in the last 20 years, you do not need to warm it up.

Oh and I already said it probably wasn't an example of laziness, but apparently you missed that part, so that would make you lazy when it comes to reading.

I think a simple case of laziness is when people accidentally drop trash and don't pick it up. Or they miss the trash can and leave it.

Then there are all of the cigarette butts that you see on the ground at stop lights.

To me, people can be lazy to their own detriment and that's OK.

But when their laziness affects others is when it bothers me.

I don't particularly like using a public toilet to see the prior person hadn't flushed.

I don't like when a parking space is unusable because someone parked over the line.

When I had small children and a stroller, I hated cramming into an elevator to go up or down one floor with others that could have used the stairs.

I can't stand all the lazy people that don't run 120 miles a week and can't even break 30 in the 10k. Lazy idiots.

I had a roommate who would literally never clean up after himself. He'd make dinner and then leave his plate on the table, half the meal still on it, for weeks on end. I never once saw him do dishes, even after repeatedly telling him to do his dishes or stop using mine. His girlfriend would come by once every few weeks and clean up his mess.

Posters starting a new thread about a topic that's been covered ad nauseam here and on ye ol' Internets. Like, ITBS, shin splints, spikes, earbuds...Just find and old one and revive it.

Has anyone mentioned Coinstar? What a rip off. Why not just roll it yourself?

Actually, one of my favorites are the people who rent the golf carts at the par 3 course. The longest hole is like 150 yards...you really can't walk that far?
