You are talking about a state that divided from Virginia due to the Civil War.
Since that time, the state of Virginia has been associated with the country's earliest Presidents, great coastlines, beautiful scenery, women, great public school systems, and very good universities.

Yeah man. You got it. Frisco, Ore, Wa, BC are nice places for 3-5 months out of the year. BC has no guns and no phony Chicken Hawk Cowards.

I hate the gulf coast. the weather sucks, the terrain is flat, the beach (excepts for a few places in florida) is not particularly nice...I would never live there.

I am terribly dismayed by any Americans who expressed an unwillingness to live in any part of the USA, the greatest country on the planet. Do you think residents of COMMIE CHINA are allowed to express anything but national unity? Of course not. Personally I prefer the upper midwest cities. Nice 4 seasons, decent cost of living, no flakes, & good scenery.

Midwest? ewww. I mean I'd live pretty much anywhere given the proper incentive but I'd really prefer to avoid anywhere in the midwest. I think the Dakatos and Montana are gorgeous in summer but those winters would be awful long. Also, unlike most of the people chiming in here I've been to every state except Washington (but I have been to Vancouver). I'd probably want to avoid some shithole little town in MS, LA, AL or Southern GA, but each of those states have nice areas as well. Also, Deleware, Jersey, and Maryland have nothing that really gets me excited.

I've also lived all over the country & prefer the midwest. You used the word ewww with triple w's so I can only assume you are a lady. I actually prefer people to look down on the midwest. It decreases the risk of empty coasties flocking here & trust me they are. Chicago, Milwaukee, & Minneapolis are hidden gems, but lets try to keep this hush hush.
Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, Vermont, Massachusetts, Michigan, Columbia SC, Cincinnati, Portland OR, Las Vegas or Philadelphia.
Any place west of California!
New York. Seems like the dreariest place on the planet. The weather is horrendous Summer or Winter. Pale, sickly looking inhabitants.
