How can Wisconsin have any more scholarship to add a stud like Driggs? "Cross country scholarshipping" is one of the most unfair discrepancies between schools!
Why is it you think Wisco wouldn't have any scholarships? For one Peacock is done which should free up a scholarship and we didn't give many cc atheletes scholarships last year.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have 3 for CC alone this year if not more.
8 of your team, while in high school, ran either sub-9 or sub-4:10 not counting Peacock.
And, you have a track team too!
So who are the remaining male distance stars, let's say top 15 FL or NXN, who have Not yet committed verbally?
Sam Pons of South Pasedena CA. Hes deciding between stanford and ivys
Has Ryan Urie committed?
i heard urie might be leaning towards Cal
Zack Sims - University of Georgia
How much is Sims getting at UGA? I heard most those GA runners are on books scholarship (next to nothing)

Guess that kind of eliminates Joe Perry then??
Stanford the Ivies, Duke have similar policies- in general (but not always):
-kids in households with an income less than $60,000 don't have to pay anything to go there
-$60,000-$180,000 pay 10% of their income. So a family making $120,000 pays $12,000.
-over 180: you're paying for it
these are the rules of thumb usually. I attended a presentation that featured a few of these schools, most had guidelines like this.
Where is Julie Nacouzi heading?
Sounds like the 181,000 family is screwed. Costs at these schools can run 60,000 with tuition, room/board, books, travel. So they pay a third of their pre-tax income. The 179,000 family pays 18,000. That sucks. Might be better if one parent quit work if the job is relatively low paying like a teacher. Let's penalize the hard working.
Chris Walden IN to Cal (5th FL)
Eddie Owens NY to Princeton (8th FL)
ammar moussa definitely commited to colorado... his facebook profile picture is CU. look it up.
Hope covers tuition if you are a 3 or above. That is a sweet deal for in state kids. I doubt Simms is getting anything. They have 4 other kids better than him who have committed for 11.
There is so much fake money at Georgia it is scary. High school teammate Dan Neff received a full scholarship there. He has run one regional qualifying time, not scored at SEC, and is not even in their top 9 in cross country. I am sure Sims was offered a new car!
Indiana Recruits:
Gabe Ocasio- Butler
Kodi Mullins- Butler
Jace Lowry- Syracuse
Chris Walden- Cal
Brad Hess- Ohio State
James Martin- Indiana
John Mascari- Indiana
Morgan Welsh- Indiana
Kyle Overway- Indiana
Filimon Adhanom- Indiana
Josh Roche- Indiana

1) Danny Neff ran a regional qualifying time as a FR
2) Finished 12th in the mile at Indoor SEC (Indoor PR- 4:10.15) as a FR
3) Finished 10th in the 1500 at Outdoor SEC (PR- 3:53) as a FR
4) Is all you think about xc? Because there's another sport out there called track that 4:08 HS milers get lots of $$$ to go to a school for.
