True story, I'm doing the VFW Run by myself very early on a Saturday morning. It's long so you want to get going before it gets hot. It goes through the non-upscale part of town. A police officer passes me and seemed quite surprised to see someone of my complexion trotting through in shorts and a singlet. He turned around and drove past slowly, then turned around again and pulls up along side and asks me out the window "you know where you are?". Very Few White people in that part of town.
