I think I've only ever posted once on this site, years ago, and I rarely read the boards as I feel they are generally full of ignorant, opinionated cowards. As such, I am slightly sorry to single you, "Face the Facts" out for my return to posting. I really don't know where to begin to your response, and you may not ever even see it. I hope you are a troll who checks back often after they have posted to revel in their shitpile of over indulgent crap. I have no desire to contest your claims of African dominance in running. It's absolutely true and while some would argue there has been a great resurgence in recent years for white runners, we all know from what area of the globe the best runners come from. That being said, your claims that white male American distance runners don't contribute to our sport is some of the dumbest shit I've ever read. If you are referring to medal count at major championships, then fine. But taking your claim in another context, how about the BroJos? They run this site that you have said has been influential to you. They are white male American distance runners and they have indisputably contributed more to the sport of distance running than nearly any other American males, living or dead. What about men like Hall, Ritz, Teg, Webb, etc who are household names to American high school runners and are role models? They may not have won a major championship yet, but they are certainly contributing toward a growing number of runners, both competitive and recreational. Clearly there is an enormous list of white male American distance running who, although have never won a major championship have contributed toward building a community of runners in America. Let's not forget also that although the Africans are winning most of the prize money at American road races and track meets as well as around the world, the majority of the financing for those events comes from corporations and sponsors. Guess what, most of those people are white!!! Without white distance runners in America you don't have Robert Cheruiyot winning the Chicago Marathon because no sponsors would have interest in backing the event. Finally, on a different subject, admitting to being a racist is something that in nearly all cases I would condemn. I say nearly all cases because I am an open minded person and as crazy as it sounds, I would be willing to listen to a convincing argument citing the benefits and logic behind properly applied racist ideology. . . . I haven't heard such an argument made. Nothing has come close. You, while bemoaning the wickedness of racism, have proven yourself no better than the bigots who you claim to have been a victim of. I think you a few things completely wrong! I was referring to contributions at the Olympic games only, I sure white people do great at their 5k fun runs, and worthless marathons, but I'm talking about the venue that matters the most to track & field.

I've been coming to this site for MANY years now. I love the articles, information, and updates worldwide. However, I've seen a constant barrage of hate and stereotyping that I just could not ignore anymore. Before the 2008 election, this place actually seemed to be about running, gossip, coach & athlete bashing. I actually miss not having to talk politics with recreation. The Brojos have successfully allowed me to form a hatred for one particular group now by opening an unregulated forum for BS and off-topic rants.
So why do I hate white American Male distance runners? I'm assuming they all act like majority of the posters on this website, so I guess that's how I will form my stereotype.
