I've asked people close to the situation to update us. I believe they are receiving tons of mail, phone calls and emails. Also, they have final exams lurking. I promise to post something as soon as there is decent feedback to provide.

i would think that anyone who goes to any wachovia bank with the account number can ask for the balance, i may be wrong, but a lot of people are curious so i think someone should check it out, i would if i could get to a wachovia

i don't know, but I would imagine no deadline, because even after the surgery is paid for more will be needed for recovery.
