D3 Indoor Track predictions

That may be true. It is just too bad that all of you smart f***ers are always posting things on Letsrun.com. It makes me wonder how much you are actually putting into your education. And let me know how great things go for you guys in the overall team scores at indoor nationals.

The WIAC is fine. They are going to do very well at nationals. They always do. Anyone who has a problem with that probably is not running at nationals. I would not put too much thought into all the negative crap that is being posted here.

If Brian doesn't make it that is extremely unfortunate but I am sure he will be ready to go at it during the Outdoor season. Good luck to all unless you are one of the bitches that are talkin shit on this website and are not gettin ready for your race.

Donahoe of SLU wins the mile in 4:12.07 I think. Puts him 10th? on the list (adding 1.0 from banked harvard). A few others under the provisional in the race.

Looked very strong running 60-59 last 400 going away.

All of their guys will be fresh, enough said.

Anybody know why the ECAC DMR times are listed as yards? I didn't think there were any 220 yard tracks left...

Hany won his conference (UAA) 3000 in 8:27. NYU, as usual, basically bagged the meet to get ready for Nationals, though I had half expected them to put together their "A" DMR lineup--that didn't happen. (They didn't already qualify for the National DMR, did they?)

They're currently 16th on the nationals list with a 10:08.3 c. from their 10:05 at Fastrack.

WIAC vs. NESCAC!!!! OMG!!! Anonymous fights on messageboards!!!!! You guys are so tough!

Things I've noticed:

1) The WIAC is very defensive about how they stack up with the rest of the country. While very competitive nationally, they tend towards overstatement about their dominance.

2) The NESCAC is very defensive about the academic rigor of their schools. While excellent schools, I'm sure the graduates of the WIAC will somehow scrounge up well-paying jobs with their degrees, despite the lack of "Brand name education" on them.

3) There is a very high likelihood I will get flamed for this post, because I did not post anonymously.

Whoa--not that it'll make a difference this year, but I just saw that NYU named their men's coach (Nick McDonough) to take over the women's team.

At a guess, I'd imagine that the women will continue to be not-so-hot in track (like the men), but it'll be interesting to see what happens with their distance runners in the future!

So when do the final seeds come out? Who ended up getting lucky and who got screwed?

According to my coach, the seeds come out on Monday. I also heard that Kosgei may be running the 5K.

I would think anyone that qualified for the 5k is going to run it. It's the last event for distance guys, so why not enter it if you qualified for it?
