Martin County Sheriff's Department DUI investigators on the scene determined Woods showed signs of impairment.
"They did several tests on him," Budensiek said. "Of course, he did explain the injuries and the surgeries that he had. We did take that into account, but they did do some in-depth roadside tests."
The investigators arrested Woods and transported him to the Martin County Jail. The sheriff said Woods' breathalyzer test didn't show any signs of alcohol. Woods refused to submit to a urinalysis test for other drugs, according to the sheriff.
"He is cooperative, but he was not trying to incriminate himself," Budensiek said. "So, he was careful in what he said and didn't say."

He has glassy eyes, bloodshot eyes, lazy eye-lids and a blank stare. There’s a few substances that it could be but he’s definitely on a lot of something.
Don’t know what he was on, but I had an episode with him where multiple times in a one week period he was found completely passed out on the street in the late night/early morning on a mix of alcohol and drugs, añd had to physically carry him with someone from his team to his hotel suite. He has been in bad shape this way for a long time. Whatever he is addicted to nobody around him is telling him no or getting him properly in rehab.
I did, a few years ago during the Covid years, have an anaphylactic reaction to a prescription cough medicine - benzonatate - that I reluctantly accepted to take. I bit into a capsule that should not have been chewed as the dosage was intended to be released over time. My tongue swelled and I thought I might even have to punch a hole in my throat to stay alive. Luckily, it didn't come to that and I lived to tell this tale. The pill bottle and user instructions should have been clearer. The would-be cure was worse than the disease - a bad cough.

I called for an ambulance from my 4th-floor walk-up apartment. But in hindsight that moment was peak tongue-swelling. The 911 dispatcher insisted that I wait for an ambulance at the nearest street corner rather than walk just a few blocks to a hospital - this was near Columbia University in Manhattan. An ambulance came and made me wait for about fifteen minutes while inputting my insurance info, then drove the five blocks to the ER. NYFD (New York Fire Department) manages the ambulances and charged $1500 for the trip I did not need very much. My insurance covered about $250 for the ambulance. NYPD cops told me that many people now refuse ambulances as they know how steep the cost is. CVS, which filled the prescription, agreed to cover the $1500 - $250.
Docs at the ER just looked at me, kept me for an hour or so, and said go home.
Addiction is an illness. It is not something to make a mockery of.It can happen to anyone. All that is needed is a few stars to misalign in life and boom it hits.He needs to accept and go to rehab properly and walk away from golf ,focus on something else meaningful. Perhaps relocate from USA to somewhere in Europe.

I'm not sure. I see a lot of posts in places about how he is being railroaded or treated unfairly. Also making note that he did not register on the breathalyzer except lots of things including prescription meds can cause one to be impaired while driving. A quick look at FL statutes and evidence of impairment can stem from officer's observations of things like erratic driving, slurred speech, failure of a field sobriety test, etc. While a urine/blood test is certainly more damning evidence, it is not necessary to secure a conviction. I would say a rollover crash would be cited as evidence of impairment if there are other indicators ( blood shot eyes, slurred speech, etc.)
A defense attorney can certainly attempt to create doubt: of course his speech was slurred he had just rolled his vehicle!
