Boxhill burn stream here youtube .com/watch?v=wUXlVF0Ob20 (just get ride of the space after youtube). None of the good races really start for 2 hours. Looks like a better meet than the Perth track classic though.
Good on Brett. His experienced showed in that race. I’m a fan of Seth, but his form is questionable in the later halves of his races. You can really tell he starts to falter when his upper body and arms get floppy.

Good man, I caught the end of the 5000m A race..Thanks
Jess Hull missed the 2k indoor record in liévin, but love that she takes a crack and races aggressively. Great attitude after in her interviews as always.
Surprise win from Brett. Seth changed coach? Linden vomitting before race?
Missed part of the broadcast - who did Seth change coach to? Anyone know why?
Also wondering if anyone knows why Brett's decided to do a 5000, any chance it's a sort of start back from basics thing and build back up to the half/full marathon? Obviously been a while since he's has a really good performance over half/full, hope he'll be back soon

Brett addressed this on FTK at the start of the year and alluded to cooking himself in previous years with marathon block after marathon block so he's going to ease into the year of training (didn't go to falls chasing fitness) and just race whatever comes up. He mentioned there may be a half marathon coming up but he's keen to race any shorter distances. Honestly sounds like much needed reset/refresh and Rayner's done something the same previously.

Where did you see/hear about Seth changing coach? Just listened to IRP and they didn’t mention anything.
also interesting tidbit on FTK, Jack mentioned very briefly about how a Stewy wasn’t keen on doing all the training camps that come with being part of MTC
Brett on the FTK podcast saying that Seth blocked him on Instagram after their 5k. Ridiculous stuff 😂
Brett Robinson is 34 years old. Jack Raynor is 30. Cam Myers acts more professional than either of them. Gossiping on podcasts and organizing cancelled bush raves at their ages is just pathetic.

I wonder if this has something to do with Nic Bideau invoicing them for all the training camps. Also Stewy always seemed like one of the only guys in MTC who actually had stuff going on outside of running with a non-running social circle and his teaching career.
Can't really blame the bloke for not wanting to stay in Hoyos for months with a bunch of dorks when he has a bunch of teaching pracs and assignments to do.
Leanne on Road to Somewhere pod announced she's out of Boston with hamstring issues. Hopefully she can take some down time and be good for a marathon later in the year
