They'll have a very good team fall of 2026. Especially if Goldberg is healthy and runs well. They were my dark horse for fall of 2025, but Goldberg did not run and they didn't have a chance. If everyone is healthy they will be more than a dark horse the fall of 2026 for NXN.
I wonder if California will have boys teams that get top 10 at NXN in the coming years. Last 2 years the highest finish for CA boys teams was 11th. In 2025, no CA boys or girls team got top 10, and the top individual CA boys finisher was 26th place
I was just looking over Mountain View's track times from this season and their top seven 3200 times ranger from 9:06 to 9:36. 2 juniors, 3 sophomores and 2 freshman. With another bunch for the low 9:40's to low 10:00's and most of those are freshmen and sophomores. They are going to have so much depth. If a couple of those lower sticks improve and get close to the top three then a NXN ticket will be very likely.
