you guys are seriously the worst. we have clear evidence here and in other places that a global superstar was a really good age-group mid-distance runner, and your immediate reaction is to search for 40-year-old evidence on whether she ran to the second what she remembers having done as a 13 year old. why aren't you celebrating this previously unknown connection and thinking about ways to bring JLo more into the running community? whether she ran 4:49, 4:59 or 5:09 for the 1500 literally doesn't matter.
