By Syds own description, she has a very extensive personal support system, albeit well earned, that is simply out of reach for an athlete like Paulino who is from a small relatively poor country. It is natural for the latter to have at least a small chip on her shoulder given the differences. Just part of the reality of a global sport like ours.
Let's also remember that Marileidy likely has relatively minimal sponsorship contracts when compared to Sydney. To maximize her earnings, Marileidy probably wants to compete as frequently as she can to gain appearance fees and prize money. Sydney has a much more lucrative contract that minimizes the temptation to compete more frequently.
Sport is only fair during the actual competitions. The circumstances, hardships, privileges, etc. outside of competition are variable and unique to each individual athlete.
Both of these two athletes should be very happy and consider themselves winners after this race as they both did their best and ran personal best times. Ultimately that is the most that any athlete (at any level) can control and should be satisfied with.
