It’s about time DC is getting adult supervision. Our nation’s capital has become a wasteland of violent crime and the local cops have been cooking the books to hide the real stats.
10 years in prison for vandalizing a statue will now be enforced.
You had your chance Dems. You let the city slide into a crime-ridden dystopia like every other big city where you’re in charge. Like sealing our southern border the moment Biden left, watch 47 end the DC crime wave.
So now violent crime is not at a 30 year low in DC. The stats are fake 🤦🏾♂️ 🤦🏾♂️
Any time a decision doesn’t go their way…the judge or jury is corrupt. The election doesn’t go their way……. it’s rigged. Upcoming election not looking good for them…cheat and move the goalposts. The stats don’t look good for them….they are fake. Disgusting doesn’t begin to describe Trump and his inbred cultists.
The DC police commander was literally put on leave in May because he's being investigated for lying about the crime stats.
This is just another distraction from Epstein. Trump is a pedophile and trafficker, and he's desperately trying to stop the inevitable: "Look over there! Nothing to see here."
Allegedly was attacked? If the DC mayor and police chef would just do their job this wouldn't be necessary. Not to mention the prosecutor is aboot social reform & not prosecution.

Liberals think jailing people for surfing alone during covid is just bettering society but extra cops on the street in a crime ridden hell hole is outrageous government overreach.
The next rational thought any of you leftist idiots have will be the first of your lives.
Listen to all the liberals defending the criminals of DC...Remember this at the mid terms folks...
Which criminals are we talking about here? The ones behind the insurrection, who invaded and damaged the capitol, tried to stop an election certification and wanted to "hang mike pence", and who actually brutally assaulted many police officers??? Who was/is defending those criminals??? Liberals.... Or trump and all the maga idiots, who called them, and still call them, "patriots", and who called for their pardon and release and who got their wishes??
What a bunch of hypocritical buffoons you MAGAts are.
Anyone who has been to D.C. knows that it is very safe to walk around. Only someone who watches way too much TV and never goes outside could actually believe that it is a crime-ridden dystopia. I've been there like 20 times over the last decade, all over the city, at all different times of day, and never once did I feel unsafe. Don't go certain places at 2 am. That is standard, smart advice pretty much anywhere in the world.
You don't have a legitimate basis for your opinion. DC was great a decade ago, and it still looks fine in most areas, but if you live there, you realize it's not fine.
I live in an expensive neighborhood in DC. I hear gunshots weekly, often during the day or early evening. Bullets went through the windows of my neighbor's condo (worth over a million). I have witnessed multiple carjackings. I have numerous friends who have been mugged. One mugger took my friend's key fob to his building and tried to break into his apartment, while his girlfriend was home alone and my friend was still being treated for injuries. This was in the middle of the day on 14th Street. I have friends who were at a fancy restaurant a year ago when all the diners had to hit the floor because people outside were shooting at each other and bullets were going all over the place. Dirtbike gangs ride around on the weekends like it's Fury Road.
It is probably a bit better than it was two years ago. The Metro has definitely gotten better since they installed the new gates and started enforcing fare evasion again. It's still not good by any stretch of the imagination. It's also not entirely the fault of the city government. The US Attorney (a federal official) is responsible for prosecuting most crime in the city, and for years the office has been largely uninterested. They want to be like other US Attorneys' offices, just focusing on big sexy cases, not handling a massive volume of routine street crime. If you talk to police in the city, they'll tell you that they are sick of arresting people for serious crimes and having the US Attorney decline to prosecute.

Fantastic.
What about breaking into and then severely vandalizing the Capitol building? Will prison time be enforced for that? Or is still considered a patriotic action, and and therefore it will not be charged?
How about assaulting police officers inside the capitol? Will that now be enforced and the perpetrators sent to prison and not pardoned?
how about if you don't like how an election went, and want to believe conspiracy theories and lies, and then you try to overthrow those election results? Is that still no longer a crime with Trump in charge?

Democrats riot every day for a year, kill dozens of people and do BILLIONS in damage and they just cannot get over the single right wing riot in US history...
I feel sorry your pets and your eternally unsatisfied boyfriend.
LA, Chicago, New York, Baltimore, now DC. If democrats are the problem, which city in the US is successfully governed by the republicans?
Miami…
Interesting. What did republicans in Miami do? If democrats in LA and DC changed their logo from a donkey to an elephant, would they become immediately successful?

You are just pathetic. You have no justification for your authoritarian tendencies, so you completely invent one:
"Sure, all the evidence says it is safer than ever... BUT I bet the local cops have been cooking the books to hide the REAL crime statistics and actually it is a post-apocalyptic wasteland."

Your insane imagination is does not provide the justification needed for tearing up the constitution and implementing a police state like this. There is no legitimate emergency that you can point to. Just admit: You just want to see skulls (preferably libs) get bashed in for fun. You don't have principles, you just want violent entertainment.
And Tokyo is completely safe for everyone - including women - at 3AM. Why should the capital of the world's richest nation be a complete sh!thole?

Idiots.
What about "fiery but mostly peaceful protests" all over America in the summer of 2020?
The three states with the highest murder rates are MIssissippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. How about the federal government take over law enforcement from those Democratic governors?
Oh yeah, they're not Democrats.

Well to begin with, many of them used to live in Cuba, so they know about communism.
