physically she was back of the pack the whole time, ran a time that wouldn't compete at an ncaa final, and faded/eased at the end in dead last. gone was the trademark wire to wire. it's not even like she went out hard early then blew up.
mentally there seemed to be zero fight. she wasn't up near the front to start, and she wasn't trying to pick off stragglers. and she eased as opposed to fought through the line.
to me it's also a baptism by fire to stick her out there first race diamond league 800 with rose as pacer and everyone 2 or under.
