Lacking the ability to do either introspection or retrospection, and ever self absorbed in narcissism, Harambe of course missed your main point.
By the way, do you care about the vaccine, because I don’t? Rekrunner put this to bed with Omicron ending the “pandemic” for vaccinated and unvaccinated, previously convalescent alike, because of course it did.
True. Omicron ended the pandemic. For whatever reason, this greatly upsets P.E. teachers.
What did I "put to bed"? I gave an unsupported opinion about Omicron being a partial solution. Vaccination of 60% of the population was another part. And sure, this could all change with the next mutation.
But again, developing immunity without contracting the disease is generally preferable. We are learning more and more about about long term effects of having contracted the disease, as well as permanent damage to organs caused by Covid-19 virus, even from mild or non-symptomatic cases -- including (who said this above) higher risk of pulmonary embolisms.

It’s almost as upsetting as alleging natural immunity is as effective as 4-8 iterations of vaccine. Not quite, but almost. Exercise physiology and education PhDs are doctors too didn’t you know….
Lol natural immunity is definitely not as good as 8 targeted boosters. You’re just fantasizing now. Natural immunity was broken with omicron and reinfections have happened regularly with new strains. VE from a targeted vaccine is much better - you actually see some protection against new infectious.
You keep trying to expand the utility of natural immunity. It’s a little worse than the original 3 shot series and much worse against new strains. Effective but not comparable. And you have to harm yourself to get it
Every 3 weeks some antivaxxer glutton for punishment decides they need another verbal lashing from Harambe.
I should start charging. Maybe wear some strappy leather thing. I wonder if I can get something gorilla sized. Maybe a whip with “rhetoric” emblazoned in gold foil?
Thank you for being a non political voice of reason.
Harambe is renowned exercise physiologist Andrew Coggan.
Yes he and his sidekick 2600bro are very intelligent, but also very narrow minded and hubristic as are many people who seem to live in an academic and political bubble.
Are you serious ? This is the first time I know of that Harambe has been identified.
No, nic is just effing with you. I only post using my own name about topics in which I have some expertise, never about things that I don't. That's because my actual interests are very narrow, even if deep.
Also for the record, I work in the Department of Kinesiology.

You are Harambe. No-one in the entire history of letsrun.com posts like you. It's pathetic. Grow tf up.
And it's just plain bad science to not want some of us to be in the self selected control group.
The “control group” post-vaccine approval was just people who were on average dumber, poorer, and less educated. Perhaps an interesting group for a sociology study. I get kind of bored talking to them though, so I’ll leave it to others.
Says the guy who can’t stop talking to them some five years on 🤡🤦♂️😂

The pulmonary emboli referenced were in two vaxxed people I know. In fact, the only injuries or deaths I’m aware of in my circle are vaxxed people, and there are many. Meanwhile, my unvaxxed friends and family have not been sick with Covid since Omicron in 2022. I’m not saying we couldn’t get sick still, just that we haven’t.
What to do with those who already acquired immunity before “immunization” with vaccination was possible? Or after while all personal risks/rewards were still being calculated under the guillotine of job loss threats, vax passports, social credit diminution as a result of a coercive and authoritarian government edicts?
Of course it’s better to be immunized prior to any infection, but people who are convalescent absolutely contribute to herd immunity. And they were deliberately excluded by the “scientific” community. As much as big government leftists like Harambe want to use public funds to craft a narrative totally undermining individual medical autonomy and destroying small businesses and shutting schools in the process, they deserve to be called out by libertarians. And they should stick to exercise science or whatever it’s called.
Be careful man. There’s a prominent exercise scientist on here who has stolen and registered multiple handles as well as censored voices like my own by getting us banned over the past couple years (and weeks).

Let me re-phrase that to avoid any misunderstanding.
Assistant Professor Andrew Coggan, there is no other poster in the entire history of letsrun.com who posts the way you do. You are Harambe on the covid threads.
Anyone who follows the very long Norwegian training thread will understand.
Dude, what are you even saying? You frankly sound stumbling and stupid. What lesson are you even talking about. You’ve grown too full of yourself at this point, just grandiose statements of nothingness.
The point is that two shots save Chokervics legacy. They remove the “what if” that will hang over his head forever. They avoid this embarrassing crumble. Most people only get one shot at greatness. Chokervic had two and didn’t take either.
The two shots that saved his legacy were the ones that he saved match point with (2011 US Open, 2019 Wimbledon, both against Federer) before going on to win the tournament. He was the first to do that twice in majors since Rod Laver.
The thread title is unquestionably false and the last couple of pages of posts have not been anywhere near the (false) subject of the thread. Sounds like a vaccine thread alright.

Some choker!
Don’t worry man, Novax won consistently to the extent he was allowed to play during the peak Covid years of 2020-2023, stamping himself as the all time greatest with the most (male) grand slam victories in history. Then he topped if off with an Olympic gold last year.
He’s attempting to become the first 38-year old in history to win a slam. And there’s no shame in that, though it is very unlikely as all but one player in history was done by age 36. There is no “what if” for Djokovic, but a title at age 38 would only serve to further cement his legacy. That he continues to dispatch of 20-something year old, world ranked number threes (Zverev) in grand slam semis and remains as the only over 29-year old in the top 10 is a testament to both his greatness and his health. Had he suffered a pulmonary emboli, he would’ve been done a long time ago…

I cannot believe people are trying to sleuth my identity. I must really annoy you all. Ah well. Antivaxxers deserve it.
I’m not Coggan, unless he’s a gorilla. Then I could be. But I’m not.

The shame is that he would have won the Slam were it not for over a year of poor play and injuries stemming from an unexplained illness in Dec 2023.
You know and I know what that means. You’re absolutely frantic for it to be anything but.
Your hero. Your idol. Slain by the sword you fear most. Cut down in irony by the cause you’ve raged against for years. One stroke (DanM, not that kind) and all you’ve worked for. The lives you’ve taken. The cortisol levels you’ve endured. All for naught.

A poignant beauty to it all, I must say
The reality is that it’s fun to come on here. It’s fun, when I’m not banned by you like six weeks ago, to occasionally check in and invoke your eye popping, pulmonary embolism causing fury. The same guy who quite literally pens the following but simply cannot restrain his tirades for even one hour ~
“The “control group” post-vaccine approval was just people who were on average dumber, poorer, and less educated. Perhaps an interesting group for a sociology study. I get kind of bored talking to them though, so I’ll leave it to others.”
Absolute comedy. From a guy who loves to sh!t on long haul Covid and long vax sufferers. Bravo 👏 🤡

You must also check the voter registration. If Democrat, then your theory could be true. If Republican or independent/unaffiliated, then you’re off the mark. Harambe is a dyed-in-the-wool big government, progressive authoritarian lib masquerading as a “libertarian.”
