The head duo have more than doubled their lead in this last section. If the timing mats are to be trusted, they are either about to blow out or to make a gap too big for anyone else to catch up. Increasing the lead by 5min in 5miles is astonishing.

Well since it now lists the women as leading I’m not trusting that current time gap
If they could actually show us 10min of images at the aid station without interruptions, I would take splits myself, but they lose feed every min or less.
WSER coverage has gotten better and better each year. "AI" is not going to solve the problems posed by trying to get real-time footage and data from aid stations miles from cell coverage; smart and creative people will use improving tech to improve race coverage year after year.
Caleb Olsen out front solo and out of Michigan Bluff aid station. 16 mins ahead of Jim's time from last year 🔥🔥
Chris Myers 2 mins back. Still such a long way to go.
Kilian 8 mins back and Jeff Mogavero up into 4th (10 mins). Roche a little further back into 5th (12 mins). It's starting to look incredibly hot out there.
Interesting to note how the commentators keep repeating they haven't seen Kilian leave any aid station with ice on him. 15 years ago the heat got the best of him. You would assume this time he would be the one cooling the most out of the front guys, but the opposite seems to be on display.
