There’s gonna be a 3:29 or faster guy in Kenya that doesn’t make the World’s team
Probably several 3:28 guys or faster by when it's all said and done because Reynold has never gone full-bore in a race, Komen is just working into shape, Tim already had his 3:29.7, and Kipsang had been injured and is rounding into top shape.
Also rojo corollary works here — Festus Lagat part of UA Dark Sky this is a major overachievement with Western coaching IMO.
I've gotta say the Diamond League puts on such a good product compared to GST. Great races, bang, bang, one after another.
And the field events really add so much -- there's not a still moment between races, all different shapes and sizes displaying awesome feats of athleticism. It's a real mistake to drop the field events from the show.

I don't think he will but I don't think it would be a bad decision for Reynold to just focus on 5000, try to get in to Monaco as a test before trials. Then again maybe in this race he's going 3:28
+1. I absolutely detest the idea of getting rid of field - it's track and field, they complement each other perfectly, the complete package. Switching to Chopra/Weber and Mahucheck/Olyslagers between races - perfect, so entertaining
