He didn't clock 3:26. But he still loses actual races, not time trials, to runners with more top end speed than he has. They don't have more endurance.
Changing the goal posts after demonstrating you don't know what gun to tape means, as expected.
And again, speed over shorter distances is demonstrated in shorter races, not at the end of an all out effort in a longer race.
If person A runs 50 second laps and person B runs 60 second laps for 3 laps, and person A slows down to 70 second laps when person B maintains 60 second laps, then he didn't win because he had more top end speed.
The fastest man in the 1500 and mile is the person with the world records indoor and fastest PB out of every currently active runner outdoors.
If speed isn't demonstrated at the end of a race then no one runs faster than another to pass them at the finish or to demonstrate a kick. You simply have no idea about the sport you profess to follow.
But I know that even you know he has and only try to downgrade his accomplishments. Ingebrigtsen is the 4th fastest 1500m runner in history (1 ahead was tested positive). So far, he is around 1 second ahead of the other current top guys like Hocker, Kerr and Nuguse.
4th fastest means he hasn't clocked 3:26. Only one runner has done that.

You can lose races even if you have good top end speed and overall best endurance if you use more of your energy during the race. For example if you run behind another runner the simulations show that you have 70% less air resistance.
The speed that counts is what is demonstrated at the finish. 3 runners passed Ingebrigtsen in the home straight in the 1500m final in Paris. They therefore had to finish faster than he did.

Can you guys PLEASE stop feeding the troll, he will never change into a coherent, intellectual non-blabbering human being. Why is this post riddled with discussions with him. Just ignore him and stick to the subject.
I like GST for the chance to see these guys go at each other more often. Going to be exciting when Jakob is finally in the mix, would be cool to see him at one of the events though.
i honestly think if Hocker isn't in these races, Jakob would adjust his strategy. 100% he could sit and kick on either nuguse or kerr if they tried to do what he's been doing the past 4 years. They would get blown away trying to lead like that.
The other issue is if he doesn't lead, now we're looking at a pack of around 8 runners, and there's gonna be a lot of ugly.
If Ingebrigtsen tried to sit and kick in the 1500 more runners than Kerr and Nuguse would beat him. Kerr and Nuguse wouldn't pace him. They would wait to kick. And beat him. So would virtually every other runner in the race with more top end speed.

Actually I would like to see Jakob waiting until last 200m. Believe he can win that way.

Changing the goal posts again after you said top end speed. Top end speed is demonstrated in the sprints, not at the end of a long race where drafting and fatigue means you don't hit your top end speed at the end of a race.
A person who's in first and slows down at the end and gets passed by a runner who maintains their speed is endurance, not speed.
Who of them has "repeatedly" beaten him? To all of them he has a (extremely) positive win/loss record in this period.
So, who has, Armstronglivs?
Kerr has beaten Ingebrigtsen 3 straight times in the last couple of years, including in 2 global championships. Several other runners have also beaten Ingebrigtsen in his main event in global championships in the last few years - Wightman, Hocker and Nuguse as well as Kerr - and so denying Ingebrigtsen outdoor global titles in the 1500 since 2021. He is there now to be picked off by other top runners in that event.

Top-end speed is what a runner can generate at the finish of a md or distance race - it isn't confined to sprint events. Ingebrigtsen has lost to several runners whose pace outstrips his at the close of the race. They don't beat him because they have superior endurance; they beat him because, relative to him, they have more speed at the finish. If you don't accept that then you have to argue that his endurance fails him and that their endurance exceeds his.

If he could win that way in the 1500 he would have done so already.

So you didn't watch the Tokyo 2021 final... cool.
So why hasn't he done it since 2021? Does he prefer losing - or does he know that he is up against a generation of athletes with a better kick than him?
Armstronglivs is providing a chilling example of mental illness in action. He attempts to make any thread he engages in about Jakob. Strange. He must live in a basement room that has Jakob pics on the walls. Pics with red x’s (in lipstick) scrawled over over Jakob’s face. “It rubs the lotion…” Now, as to why no threads on Kerr “demolishing” Yared and Cole, well Yared “demolished” Kerr in the 800 and the fact is Kerr is simply unlikable. He brags when he wins, and when he loses (as in the DL for example) it’s a string of excuses, which he then accuses Jakob of doing. Odd fellow.
