I train 5 evenings a week, by the time I'm home the evenings done. I work 9-5 so can't run in the day, or in the mornings as early commute.
I don't take her out Saturdays as it affects my long run too much.
Run most nights after work.
Saturday is parkrun.
Sunday is long run then sleep in the afternoon for recovery.
She said one more marathon block and its over.
Has anyone else had these problems how did you deal with the problem of training and family life.
Goal sub 3:30
All this over a lousy goal of sub 3:30? I got a piece of advise for you buddy: Get a divorce and pursue your lousy 3:30 goal. You are taking her hostage on your SELFISH pursuits, and again, a LOUSY 3:30 PURSUIT. Yes , 3:30, YOU SUCK!!!
She definitely deserves better. You should be thrown in a dungeon.
So would 2:30 justify never seeing his wife? 2:30 is also a hobbyjogging time.
Unless you would hurt financially after divorcing her, I'd get out as quickly as you can. Being in a relationship with someone who thinks they own your time sounds miserable.
Hi guys just want to say I've improved my time to 3:28 off it MPW this spring.
Sadly my wife and I have since parted ways due to the time commitments of the training load. She has since found solace with a metal detectorist called Brett.
