Nonsensical argument. Barely any world records are broken at the Olympics/WR for good reason. Leads to the question what events would they be broken if not for DL? Continental Tour Gold? Lol. They've basically had a monopoly for ages. GST still needs a LOT of work to find the right format etc but they're moving in the right direction.

This is actually pretty remarkable portion, given that an OG/WC final occurs only once per year (or not at all), while every event is contested an unlimited amount of times in a season.
And most of the remaining marks are from... the Diamond League (or its precursor the Golden League).
