Infeld going to get $10,000 and a free 3-day vacation to Jamaica regardless.
Finished ahead of Cranny and Morgan. Expect great things!
Cranny coming off The 10, Morgan coming back from a long trip to China. They looked shaky in the 3K, I knew they wouldn't have any legs for today. but hey, free trip to Jamaica.

All true, but yet this was another reminder that the US women are a non factor in global 5000s. So strange when results at 10000 have been respectable.
So why no hurdles for the hurdle races? Were they stolen overnight?
Yeah the hurdles event groups where half the races don’t have hurdles seems sorta half baked.
If Wanyonyi winning the 1500 is a great example of why the double format is interesting, hurdle pros running without hurdles is a great example of why it is not.

I’ll say it again, much rather see Crouser throw the discus.
Get a grip yall. So what if these 100m times are slower than you'd like? The conditions are not ideal and so far most sprinting races have been into a headwind that's -3.0 or greater. The times are still remarkable and doubling up is what is the most impressive part here.

I disagree. I thought it was really interesting to see the women hurdlers run a flat 100 and see how much further apart they were in the flat than the hurdles race. It really does tell you a lot about the value of good hurdling technique. I don't mind the doubling aspect, I just find the pace and production lacking.
