IDK how he held back from punching Ritz when he started saying "Robert Fartin'"
A few years back, I worked a brief stint as a Starbucks barista in Boulder. One fine summer morning, we get one of those pay it forward chains going. One of the biggest we've ever has, everyone was just in a good mood. Customers were happy, tips were flowing. It was just one of those days that makes you happy to be at work.
Well things are going good until this guy pulls up and orders half our menu. I mean specialty drinks, regular coffee, desserts, breakfast items. Seems like he's having a party or something. Bill was over $100! Well anyways, there's an older lady right in front of him. Really nice, but you can tell that life hasn't treater her very well these past few years. Shes getting up there and looks worn down and weathered. I tell her about the pay it forward chain and the bill she would incur and she says 'well, I don't have much but I want that young man to have a really nice day'. So she pays for all of his stuff. I got a little emotional but was somehow able to maintain composure, hold back a tear, smile and tell her thank you.
Well the man rolls to the window and I'll be dawned if it ain't Ritz! I was so shocked that it was him that I barely noticed that he was giggling. After I collect myself I tell him about the nice old lady that paid for his things. He doesn't even make eye contact with me, just giggles louder. Still in shock that it's Ritz, I give him the things he ordered and ask him if he'd like to pay for the person behind him. He starts roaring laughing, steps on the gas and speeds off! I swear he muttered 'I hope the guy behind me has cancer' as he was pulling away but I can't be sure.
I saw Ritz at a grocery store in Boulder yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.
At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me.
I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
I'm still in shock! Anyone else had similar experiences?

No. He wouldn't have signed with Tracksmith if ON were ever and option.
