Terrific close from Cailie Logue Hughes, catching Izzo in the final 800m. Really unfortunate for Jess Judd.

What happened to Jess Judd? Was Mica a DNS?
I appreciate the hard work of the runners, but I have to say, it was quite disappointing. Both Kara and Des, who we know as former great athletes, seem quite disconnected from the understanding.
Tonight was really bad, I mean really bad.
I was there tonight and I quite enjoyed it. I thought Kara and Des were so cool and funny and I really enjoyed watching the athletes even if it wasn't as fast or as deep as The TEN. It was a good B-level or even low A-level event. It was free too which was nice.

That was embarrassing, but in a good way. Let's make sure it doesn't happen again.
It was really tough to watch and listen to on the livestream.
My girlfriend and I were there, and we had a great time. We talked to Clayton Young and Trey Hardee, both of whom are super nice guys. Clayton actually walked over to us because he could tell that we are fans of his. I truly hope this event will become an annual one. The races were entertaining, and it makes me happy that 25 or so runners had a chance to run some quality times on one of the best tracks in the country. As an Iowa State alum, it was extra special to see Cailie Hughes win the women's race. Both she and Cael Grotenhuis were very thankful for the opportunity to showcase their talent. I'll be rooting for both now even more than before in the future. Thanks Des and Kara for putting on this event.
