Laros I think is the man.

Grant can ride Laros over the speed work up to a mile.

Laros can ride Grant in the longer stuff. Laros after all can most probably run well under 13 min 5K, given his 329 and cross country ability, so he'd be unlikely to be dragging his azz much of the time. certainly Laros would be doing less volume. like 2/3 percent of the threshold stuff.

They can partner up Jan to May / June

The two would have to meet informally and see if there is chemistry.

Myself, I would definitely pair up with a silly African. that just runs and makes little sense.

And "double threshold" can mean a variety of different programs.

Let me expand - someone who almost certainly won’t make a national team and for whom 6 figures would be much more significant for than an American.

They don't even pay most of their American "sponsored" athletes this much.

Mo, Sean McGorty and Grant are friends.

Sean did not race well at Millrose. Mo scratched Millrose days ahead of the event which typically means a niggle.

Jerry Schumacher has failed both of these guys. He changed some years ago and has been disingenuous to his athletes then and especially to those who have remained.

Just leave BTC/OTC in Eugene. Take charge of your own destiny… nothing to loose except time spent which is precious being a professional athlete.

Doesn’t Fisher do double T? I don’t see that being an issue. More the fact that they’re foreigners and would have to move to the U.S. Although, this could be a great thing, as Grant won’t have to compete for a spot on the U.S. team with his training partner.
