That's why I don't watch the road anymore (aside from Olympic marathon). If you want to see clean sport, stick with the track.
For all the downvotes this got, i was thinking earlier today that there keep being loads of Kenyan Road busts and far fewer from the track elites. Based on what I saw at Paris, I have a vague idea that a bunch of Kenyans and Ethios who may have been microdosing up to mid track season, came off it pre Paris and arguably this was reflected in some of the results across the endurance races - likely beneficiaries incl Fisher, Rooks and Battocletti. But obvs I don't buy that elite track is fully a 'clean sport'
Yeah, and now a 2:09 marathon from a WOMAN. At least you don't get ridiculous results like that on the track.
