Hahahah read the details mate there are real timing people there and you can go and watch yourself from the fence. Go and run your 2km in 40 mins and come back as a keyboard warrior later

You seem very jealous with all your posts.. keep your tin foil hat on out in your middle of nowhere acreage you muppet
No one ever said it was a record.. you need to get a life. Seems like Neddd is better than you which has upset you and no doubt you have barely run at all in your life. What a sad person you are!

Around 55,000 miles and two Trans continental races including a finish at the only race across Australia. I think that is a little more than "having barely run" Yarunningmate85.
I can write that most of achievements to buddy - doesn’t mean it’s reality bahahahahaba

I'm not jealous. If distance is being measured by lane, then he needs to stay in the lane.
This 'super lap' BS is a ploy to let him cut corners in my opinion. Changing direction makes sense. But claiming that 7 out of every 8 of your laps are longer than 400m does not. A lap of a track is 400m, no more. You don't get awarded extra distance for going wide.
Anyway, according to data on his TikTok day 3 was completed in 20h 40m. There's no way he gets out and completes day 4 after just 3h 20m rest.

I've spent many days racing against Trans Con Expert. I can vouch for his integrity and race results.
I think he will take longer than that for rest. Not much, but I reckon he will be out at 7:30 - maybe he gets another 100 miles tomorrow
certainly makes himself sound confident (if it’s him) on his Instagram
I hate not having tiktok, but I ain't signing up to that. Has he started again? What time did he finish?
Who are the "official timing crew"?
How is the corner cutting being policed?
Surely leaving the track counts as extra distance?
Why isn't he using a Coros Pace 2 which is accurate for running on a track?
He's clearly gutsing this out, but regardless of whether he does it or not, the record is safe as his measuring isn't up to scratch - you can't just "create" a file...but...I guess Kouros didn't have GPS either?

He hasn’t started yet (7:17pm)
I don’t think the lane is being policed
The splits on Strava are apparently loaded from the timing crew (I don’t know who they are) but are so metronomic I don’t know how they are doing it
Surely he should have if he's shifted to 20h days and wants to miss the hottest part of the day?
Then the record is null and void already, sadly.
They're putting the time on to complete a master lap, which is about the distance you see those regular shifts in pace. However this relies on impeccable lane discipline, hence the above comment. I don't think he is "cheating" just probably scrambled.
Hmmm not true… why do 400m Olympic races start with each lane staggered? Don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative though..
It looks like Nedd almost made 300 miles on track in 72 hours, which is excellent but probably not enough to move forward. There are just 700 miles to go.
Wait did you say 700 miles? That's a lot of miles.
Yes, it is. His 4:40 hour rest has eaten into day 4 already. So he has to do a sub 19 hour 100 miler as of right now. Of course that will never happen.

He is going to start running at 9:30 his physio has posted about it.
That's 5:30 hours into day 4. So a 18:30 100 miler it is. Good luck but that will never happen.
Depends how you look at it. A lap of a track is 400m in a race, but this is about distance run in real terms. He could do it on a 1000mile straight road, with no bends, but they don't exist. The master lap does make some sort of sense, though it would have been better to have done it all in lane 8, which is 453m, easier on joints and then just have official lap counters and cones to prevent lane cutting. For such a well publicised event, this is amateur organising and the fact that he doesn't have a Coros watch with track feature enabled hurts the authenticity of what, whichever way you look at it, is a beast of a run.

There is a nice stretch of straight 90 miles of paved road in the Nullarbor desert. I have run it.
With massive crosswinds and road trains. Yeah, great idea mate. Thanks for the downvote on a very reasonable post too...

Yep, day 4 will be much different than the first three days. However 9:30pm is actually only 4:30 hours into day 4 as we changed into daylight savings time in Sydney early Saturday morning.

I didn't downvote your reasonable post.

Alright, just an easy 19:30 100 miler then.
