I think this topic is taboo. We’ve all heard of doping stories in high school and college. Too many kids are on inhalers. Too many kids pop pills. Too many kids are starting to use test.
Non athlete high schools take drugs to just lift. Of course athletes are higher
It’s funny to look back and see how Dwight Stones was way too invested with Khan than any other athlete in the commentary of heat 1 semi final at NCAA’s.. Bizzare to think about lol.
How was Khan “obvious”, since he was running slower times than others? You’re like that chirping idiot astro that says “told you so” only after the fact.
It’s the times he’s run (and his placement) with zero tactical awareness
Your posts are meaningless nonsense. If a high-schooler runs fast times in high-school, then runs fast times in college, it isn’t “obvious” he was doping.

That would be the same as saying the fast older east-africans that OkState recruits are “obvious” dopers. It might be true, but “obvious” is random barking.
First thing that came to mind was "and despite this he couldn't even make finals at NCAAs"?
Time to hang them up buddy - even after your 2 years.
He’s not the only one doping…I can guarantee that
Right? Now let’s test the top guys at Iowa State, Ok State, Arkansas, Texas Tech…just test the freaking Kenyan, Spanish, Turkish athletes who are always notorious for doping…they’re the ones taking the scholarships and top spots at NCAA’s now with their doping routines they’ve brought from home training camps.
Don’t believe it? This and Arkansas’s Maru are proof.
This is dumb. Being a coach myself I know it would be quite easy for one of my athletes to go down this road, and I'd have no clue. To blame the coach without a sliver of evidence is uncalled for (but par for the course on this message board)
I don't disagree that the coach is automatically guilty, but at the same time I do think a seasoned coach should have a suspicion that something is going on even if they have no direct involvement. I go back to Jerry Schumacher and his total shock about Shelby. Either he knew something and was lying or he was totally delusional and thought his coaching methods were better than they really were.
Karissa Schweizer ran 14:26 alongside Shelby Burrito Houlihan and under Jerry's tutelage. She hasn't come close to that time since leaving that team.

Don’t forget Michael Saruni.
Or Emmanuel Korir...
Also, just wondering if anyone has bought up anything on a certain situation at OK State yet?
This is all pretty depressing. One of the big assumptions in the last 3-4 years has been that superspikes must be the only reason for the explosion in performance levels at the NCAA level in particular (especially as wavelight isn't a thing yet in college) - well sure, they probably help highly ambitious college kids, notorious for wrecking themselves in workouts, a lot more than they help pros who have already signed deals and have the benefit of pro races with wavelight - but don't think that kids didn't realize that this era, with all these external performance enhancers available, wasn't also a perfect time to dope as these big drops in performance could be chalked up to a myriad of factors with doping "hopefully" being simply lost in translation.

Crazy that he took EPO and only ran a 3:42 at Indian Nationals
...he also did not qualify for finals at NCAA (with EPO??)
How untalented is this guy?
I know this guy ran like a moron all the time (made Nordas look like a master tactician) as you would see him running in the back in mid lane 1 or in lane 2 (all alone - lol). Then he would move out to lane 3 and 4..., the n move to the back again... Maybe he ran 1580m when he ran that 3:42, who knows...
Yes, his problem was that he ran after the College season was over. NCAA Football players don't end up being caught because they don't step out of the NCAA I guess.
More positives in Track than Football (????). Highly unlikely.
